This schedule is a best endevour and subject to change. Each team is guaranteed four round robin matches with the top 2 of each Div 1 group and the top of each Div 2 group will go through to the finals. If there is enough interest, a consolidation elimination may also take place.The finals are not listed on the round robin schedule but should begin as teams finish their last round, around 4:30pm.

Please note that teams have two timeslot “byes” during the day, so we would encourage teams to use these times for food.

Coburg Table Tennis Club is setting up a women’s only social group – we welcome women of all ages, backgrounds and playing abilities.

Format: 2 person teams (only 1 person per team needs to register).

• Round robin groups
• Top 2 teams from each group progress to knock-out; others move to Consolation knock-out event
• Preliminary round robin matches
  • Top-ranked player vs top-ranked player
  • Number 2 player vs number 2 player

2 Divisions

• Division 1 – combined Ratings Central Points of the two players must not exceed a total of 3300 Rating Central Points
• Division 2 – combined Ratings Central Points of the two players must not exceed a total of 2600 Rating Central Points

• There are no restrictions on players wishing to play in Division 1. For example, 2 players with a combined total of 2500 Ratings Central Points can play in Division 1. However, teams cannot play in both divisions.

• • note that ratings are taken as of the closing date for entries (July 16).

Note: you can register even if you do not have a team mate; we will team you up with another individual registrant.

Start: 9am; club will open from 8.30am

Cost: $15 per person (payable at the club on the day).

The 2023 Metropolitan Championships will be held on Saturday June 17 (team events) and Sunday June 18 (individual events). Matches may be played at Croydon and Districts TTA or at Greater Dandenong TTA.

You must play in the teams event to be eligible for individuals. However, you can choose to play only the teams’ event if you wish. Note that you will need to register (and pay) separately for any individual events on Sunday June 18 that you intend to play in.
