What better way to start the year than to get a lot of matches under your belt!!!

Format: Large round robin where you get to play numerous players

Round-robin stage: best of 5 games; however, if you win the first 2 games, then that match is over. If the match is tied at 2 games all, then the fifth game starts at 5 points all

5pm (app): preliminary round finishes. Results will determine if you make the Semi-finals in the Open or B division. (Note: results will not be uploaded to Ratings Central)

Cost is $8 per person. No need to register; just show up before 1pm

Regardless of your standard of play, you are guaranteed many matches!!

Format: 3 person teams

• Each player to play 2 singles matches
• One player to play 2 doubles; two players to play 1 doubles each

Starting time/date: 7pm on December 12, 2023. Five rounds to be played (December 12, December 19, January 9, January 16, January 23) plus final on January 30 (top two teams in each section straight to final; no semi finals).

• Maximum of 54 players only.
• Team registrations will be accepted (subject to pennant sub-committee approval) and are preferred.
• Individual entries will also be accepted; players will be allocated to teams by the pennant sub-committee
• NB: all teams are responsible for organising fill-ins where necessary.

Fees: $40 per player, payable when season starts.

Pennant will only go ahead if sufficient registrations are received.

Due to limited available spaces, some applicants may not get a spot in pennant. In the case of the latter, the club will advise non-successful applicants once selections are finalised.

Registrations close on December 2, 2023. Late entries  will not be accepted.

On Saturday September 9th, Coburg TTC held a BBQ as a fundraiser event during Prostate Awareness Month. Chris, from Prostate Cancer Foundation, attended the event. A total of $250 was raised, a figure matched by Telix Pharmaceuticals, a biotech company based in North Melbourne. Thank you to everyone at the club who made a generous contribution and for all your support. And a special thank you to Helen Li and Charles Stiles for organising this event.
